Appendix III - CHOOSING A DEMO/LIVE DATABASE
By default, the BCFPI software will load up the 'Demo' database when it starts up after a new installation. You can change the default database that is loaded when the BCFPI software starts up.
Start the BCFPI Software
You need to start the BCFPI software to change the location of the default database. Use the BCFPI icon created by the workstation install to start the BCPFI software. Once BCFPI has started, click on 'Tools | Options'.
Select the Active Database
Make sure you've selected the 'Database' tab. Click on the version of the program you want your particular workstation to be running. A black dot indicates your choice. When you are happy with your selection, click [Ok].
Save the Active Database Change
Once you register this change, the following message box will appear. Clicking on [Ok] will close the program. When you re-open the program, it will open with the database you last selected. You can switch back as often as you wish. This is done on each individual workstation, so you can have different people working on different databases at the same time.
