Appendix I - CREATING A BACKUP

Depending on what version of the software you are currently running, you will create a copy of the directory or folder as a precaution.

1. If you are using any version prior to 2.x.x, please contact BCFPI support. You cannot run this upgrade.
2. If you are using version 2.x.x to version 3.1.x:
   1. Create a copy of the complete BCFPI folder and all subfolders. This folder will include the file "indicator32.exe", and folders called, "Data", "SQL", QBE".
3. If you have version 3.2.x or newer:
   1. Find the location of your BCFPI server. There will be a directory called "Server" (and also directories called "Wrksttn" and "Install"). To backup this version's data, you should make a copy of the Server directory and all of its contents. To do a complete backup, make a copy of everything in the folder where you found the "Server", "Wrksttn", and "Install" folders.
