BCFPI is distributed to Ontario agencies by Children's Mental Health Ontario (CMHO), under annual agreements between Ontario MCYS and CMHO, and CMHO and BCFPI Inc. The current agreements terminate on March 31, 2008. For 2007 - 2008, the software's functioning includes a 60 day extension, to the end of May 2008, to provide extra time for these agreements to be updated.

Starting in February 2008, BCFPI users will receive notices that their lease is about to or already has expired, but their software will continue functioning to then end of May 2008. Users may continue to use their system normally during this period.

CMHO will send an e-mail notice and upgrade instructions to users as soon as the Ontario-CMHO-BCFPI agreement has been renewed for 2008 - 2009, along with update instructions. We expect these will include information about upgrades to version 4, the pending web version of BCFPI.
